In recognition of the amazing collective effort, the developers of Helldivers 2 gave players free mech exosuits after they won a Major Order mission with just 43 minutes left on the clock.
How to improve Helldivers 2 in less than 5 minutes
The Helldivers 2 community achieved a Major Order victory so impressive that developer Arrowhead rewarded all players with the EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit for two weeks. The Major Order required Helldivers to free Charbal-VII, Charon Prime, and Choespessa IV from the Automatons within 72 hours.
The goal seemed out of reach in the final hours as Choepessa IV still had to be liberated. However, this quickly changed towards the 43rd minute, as Helldivers everywhere pushed the Automatons off the planet with less than one percent of allotted time remaining.
In a Galactic War update shared on Discord by community manager Miitchimus, he acknowledged the achievement and announced the reward: "…As a reward for this show of fighting spirit on the battlefield, Super Earth High Command has granted free use of the EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit for a limited time. Well fought Helldivers. Well fought!"
