Every time a new electronic device comes out, enterprising gamers wonder if they can make it run Doom. The 1993 game has become a true classic and thanks to many modders and tinkerers, it can now be run on almost anything.
You can use DOOM on anything…
Thanks to the console's ease of construction, historical significance, and hilariously low system requirements, you've probably seen videos of players converting everyday devices into Doom consoles, whether it's their refrigerators, car operating systems, cameras, and more. Turns out, there are many, many, many more bizarre projects like this out there, so if you're looking for a comprehensive list, here's every device we've found that can run Doom.
Our work has been made much easier thanks to the courtesy of a site called canitrundoom.org, which lists over 30 different devices that can fire up the iconic 90s first-person shooter.
However, we have found some important missing entries and added our findings to the list. But there are so many, we may have missed a few.
