Android 12 Developer Preview 1 boasts a variety of changes that bring a nice mix of the decorative and the functional. While leaked screenshots earlier this month showed off a major UI overhaul, the changes available in Developer Preview 1 are a bit subdued.

The Settings app is one area that has seen a small but noticeable change. From more accessible options to blue background tones – here’s everything new (so far) in Settings on Android 12.

Early testers of Android 12 will notice that the search bar in the Settings app has become noticeably larger. Your Avatar has also been shifted to the right, clearly separated from the search bar.
