While we wait for the release of version 2.2 of Honkai: Star Rail, the developer has already revealed the content planned for version 2.3. And there's plenty to be excited about.
Upcoming Star Rail QOL changes and updates in 131 seconds
In the April 22nd Voices of the Galaxy post, Honkai: Star Rail developer shared the major endgame updates coming in version 2.3. The Simulated Universe game mode is being revamped and transformed into Divergent Universe. In this new iteration, there will be more combinations between Blessings and more Curios with unique effects. Most importantly, Divergent Universe will have a Planar Ornament Quick-Claim feature, allowing you to farm these relics much faster.
The Quick-Claim feature acts as a savepoint that you can create after clearing the Divergent Universe. The savepoint uses the Curios and Blessings you’ve acquired during your run and takes you straight to the boss. However, you won’t be able to completely escape the core gameplay of Divergent Universe, as savepoints reset every week. The regular Simulated Universe will still exist in version 2.3 and will work the same as it does now, in case you want to relive the original gameplay.
In addition to the Divergent Universe, Honkai: Star Rail is getting another permanent game mode called Apocalyptic Shadow. In this mode, you’ll fight bosses you’ve seen before (with minor changes) to earn points and claim rewards, including 720 Stellar Jades. Not much else has been revealed about this mode yet, but judging from the description, it seems pretty similar to Pure Fiction, except instead of fighting waves of enemies, you’ll fight bosses.
