If constant cooking during the pandemic is getting you down, a new robot kitchen might be just what you’re looking for. That is, if you have more than $300,000 to spend.
Chef robots will soon take over your kitchen
Moley’s Kitchen is a scary contraption with two robotic arms with fully articulated “hands” that attempt to mimic human hand movements. The manufacturer claims it can take ingredients from the smart fridge, pour, mix and plate food just like a human chef would. It even cleans up after itself.
“Dining out is a very different story during COVID, and more people are cooking at home than ever,” SecurityNerd editor Julie Ryan Evans said in an email interview.
"Having the cooking done for you in your own kitchen without having to clean up is a very tempting idea, especially when many of us are unable to dine out at our favorite restaurants. This cuisine is almost like bringing a restaurant to you, and even better than takeout because you don't have to worry about the food getting cold, soggy, etc. on the way."
