Zillow's latest housing app proves that artificial intelligence is the future of home buying, experts say.

The app now includes an AI-generated floor plan of every home you view, so you can predict room sizes, square footage, and the location of listing photos relative to other photos.

Real estate experts say AI technology is becoming increasingly important in the design and home shopping experience as an additional tool to help consumers find their dream home.

“AI is the algorithm that is hopefully going to improve the [search experience] by pulling in more data sets and trying to narrow down what exactly you're looking for,” Jeff Lobb, the founder and CEO of SparkTank Media, told Lifewire over the phone.
