AI-generated content can do a lot these days, including personalized news feeds tailored to readers’ interests and written articles compiled from a dataset. With so much information at our fingertips 24/7, it makes sense that AI would step in and help curate some of the news we consume.
“It just doesn’t make sense for humans to generate and curate certain types of content because there’s no creativity involved. It’s just mind-numbing, and AI systems are good at that mind-numbing work,” Ronald Schmelzer, managing partner and principal analyst at Cognilytica, told Lifewire over the phone.
