Still in beta, Elk Audio’s Aloha enables musicians of all types to practice and make music together in completely different cities, effectively eliminating the lag that disrupts the creative flow.
“Our ultimate goal is to connect all musicians,” Michele Benincaso, Elk Audio’s founder and CEO, told Lifewire over video chat.
Elk Audio began working on Aloha technology more than five years ago, but it wasn't until March of last year that the company saw a direct need for it.
