There are several ways to turn off a device. One of them is through the device's properties window.
Open Device Manager. There are multiple ways to get there, but the Power User Menu (Win+X) is the easiest method in newer versions of Windows, while in older versions the best place to find Device Manager is in the Control Panel.
Find the device you want to disable by searching for it in its category.
