This article explains how to identify devices on your home internet network. There are many ways, across different devices and apps, to find out what is connected to your network. The method below is the most simple and does not require any additional software.
How to see all devices connected to your network
Regardless of what devices you use or have access to, if you have internet at home and access to a web browser, you can easily find out what’s connected to your network. Before you get started, make sure you have your router login information handy.
If that doesn’t sound familiar, chances are your credentials are set to default. Typically it’s a combination of “username” for the username field and “password” for the password field, but this changes depending on your router, so make sure you have the correct credentials.
Find your Default Gateway IP address. This is the IP address of your router (such as http://192.168.1.1) that you can use to enter into a web browser as a URL to access your router's web management settings.
