Cash App is becoming an increasingly popular alternative to, well, cash — you know, that notoriously unsanitary paper you used to stuff in your wallet — and is one of the bigger names in the e-wallet space. Not only does it free you from the need to run to an ATM all the time, it also comes with a customizable Cash App card that can be used like any other debit card, whether it's at the gas station, the department store, or even online on Amazon. What's more, you can draw on it to get a custom, laser-etched design. It's pretty cool, and luckily it's pretty easy to order one for yourself for free.

At the bottom of the main Balance screen, tap the second tab from the left. This will open the Cash App Card tab, with a list of options to choose from.

If you have not yet ordered a Cash App card and have not yet linked one to your Cash App account, you will be given the option to order your card. Click on Get Free Cash Card in the bottom half of the screen.

Next, you’ll begin building your card by selecting your own finish. The black and white finishes are both free, while a special Glow in the Dark variant will cost you an additional five dollars. Choose the finish you want and hit Next.
