Google Lens is a wonder in the making. Its image recognition feature can help you shop, dine, explore places, do your math homework, or scan objects to identify them. But there’s still no better use for it than simple translation. And now, Google Lens lets you translate a ton of languages, even when you’re offline. Here’s how.

First of all, make sure that Google Lens is updated on your device. Open the Play Store app and search for “Google Lens”. Tap on Install/Update as the case may be.

Open the Google Lens app and swipe the bottom bar to get to Translate. At the top of the screen, select the language link pill.

This will take you to the 'Select Language' screen. If you see the 'download' symbols to the right of some languages, your Google Lens is updated and the offline translation feature is available to you. If not, you will have to wait until you get the feature.
