The Dyson Airwrap is the beloved hair care accessory of the moment, but it’s also quite expensive, so if you’ve made it a part of your daily routine, you probably want it to last. If so, you should definitely clean your Airwrap’s filter regularly.
How to clean the in-line filter on your Dyson Supersonic™ Professional hair dryer
You’re forgiven if you didn’t know you were supposed to do this, because it’s not exactly obvious. Unless you looked closely at the box your hair tool came in, you might have even missed the little round cleaning brush tucked away in the back compartment. But you absolutely must do it: if you leave it for too long without cleaning it, the first thing that happens is a flashing white warning light. The second thing that happens is your device switches off out of nowhere, halfway through use, and refuses to come back on for 10-15 minutes, leaving you with a head of hair that’s half dry and curly, and half just plain wet.
Avoid this fate by cleaning your filter properly.
This process is quite simple, but you should do it at least a few hours before you plan to use the machine so that the parts have time to soak and dry.
