You can get there via the Rold Route, but it’s not easy to reach without some prior knowledge or context. That’s where we come in. Read on to find out how to get to the Rold Route in Elden Ring.
To reach the Rold Route in Elden Ring, first head to Leyndell, Royal Capital. Proceed through the Legacy Dungeon until you encounter Morgott, Omen King, the true identity of Margit, The Fell Omen. Defeating this boss is required to reach the Rold Route, as it opens the double doors in Leyndell that lead to the elevator. It is also required to beat the game.
Once you defeat Morgott, Melina will give you the Rold Medallion, an essential item used to activate the Grand Lift of Rold. Return to the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace, climb the stairs, and turn left all the way down the main street of Leyndell. Keep going down the road until you reach a giant set of doors. Since you defeated The Omen King and have the Rold Medallion in your hands, the doors will open for you.
