One of the most important parts of progressing in Infection Free Zone is establishing your base. This includes setting up a headquarters for your base before sending your squads out to gather resources. As your base grows and threats appear, you’ll need to defend the area from the infected. While you can set up your headquarters right at the start of Infection Free Zone, you can find much better locations later on and possibly relocate your base.

Additionally, it is possible that you have sent all your squads away and your HQ is attacked by the infected. Under such circumstances, it can get damaged and players will need a new HQ for their base. While the demo did not allow players to move their HQ, it seems that there is a way the developers will allow it.

The only way to set up the HQ is at the start of the game or when you move to a completely different zone. However, it is likely that the developers changed that with the Early Access release.
