Samsung Galaxy Tab A Not Turning On – Simple Fix
While there are many different versions of Samsung Galaxy tablets (from the affordable Tab A series to the flagship Tab S series), they all boot up the same way: hold the power button for a few seconds.
Every Samsung tablet has a thin button on the top or side of its casing; this is the button you use to turn it on. As long as your tablet is charged or plugged in, pressing this button will bring up the start-up screen and eventually the lock screen, where you can unlock your tablet and access all of your apps.
If the tablet still won't turn on after holding the power button for a few seconds and you see a black screen, there are a few things you can try to force the tablet to turn on.
