The many blessings you receive from the various gods and goddesses in Hades 2 are essential to making your way to the Underworld to take on Chronos. Now, these blessings can contain Elemental Essences, allowing for even more synergy.

Elemental Essences don't appear right away in Hades 2. You can unlock them by completing a specific incantation at the cauldron. When you have access to them, keep in mind the blessings you'll pick up and the elements associated with them. You may only use them occasionally, but they're useful to keep in mind when using builds and trying to reach Chronos.

The Elemental Essences tied to a blessing give them a specific typing in Hades 2, but they don't change the keywords of the blessing. Instead, it marks them as one of the elements, and picking up an Infusion Boon can grant you certain benefits if you have enough of a certain element.

For example, you could pick up an Infusion Boon from Aphrodite, and she will give you a certain amount of Dodge if you have at least three Air element boons. If you don't, you can still pick up the Infusion Boon, but you won't get any benefits.
