Outriders coming to Xbox Game Pass is a big plus for subscribers. It’s the easiest way to play People Can Fly’s upcoming looter-shooter.
Choosing the Right Game Pass Category (and Which to AVOID)
Microsoft recently announced that Outriders, a new looter shooter from developer People Can Fly, will be joining the Game Pass service at launch. The move brings one of the first major third-party releases of the year to Game Pass subscribers. Microsoft also added Octopath Traveler, Undertale and other games to the service in the past week, adding more value to Game Pass.
Not only does this increase Microsoft's impact on how gamers spend money on new games, it also makes the game accessible to many users who may not have been able to purchase the game at full price at launch.
“Many Xbox users rely on their Game Pass subscription to play games,” Bishal Biswas, CEO of Word Finder, told Lifewire in an email. “A game as popular as Outriders should be available across all formats so that as many users as possible can easily access it.”
