GoPro added a bunch of new features last week that some were long overdue, but now give HERO7, HERO8 Black, and GoProMax owners more options than ever before.

Announced last week at CES 2021, the update for GoPro Labs is aimed at people looking to get the most out of their camera with features like motion detectors, dash cam support, 360-degree motion detection, improved access to live streaming, and more.
“GoPro Labs is providing (HERO8 Black users) with a number of features that have been tested, such as ReelSteady GO Optimization, QR codes for camera controls, and more ways to personalize your GoPro,” Brack Nelson, marketing manager for Incrementors SEO Services, told Lifewire in an email.
Nelson said GoPro Labs is allowing "super users" to experience some of the experimental features handled by the world's best engineers. The update supports HERO9 Black, HERO8 Black, HERO7 Black and GoPro MAX, which Lifewire called the best action cameras on the market.
