DigixArt, the developer of Lost in Harmony, unveiled its latest title at The Game Awards 2020. Road 96, which is being developed in collaboration with HP’s Omen gaming PC and laptop company, looks set to be an interesting narrative adventure. But while it may seem like HP is getting into the game development business, things are not quite as they seem.

“In addition to creating great gaming hardware, like our Omen product line, and launching new gaming experiences with Omen Gaming Hub, we decided to partner with visionary game developers to be a part of advancing the medium,” Judy Johnson, HP’s director of gaming and esports, wrote in an email.

According to Johnson, Omen and HP won't really play an active role in the development process. Instead, the company will work with DigixArt developers to help realize the vision that studio co-founder Yoan Fanise and the team have in mind.
