Fallout London, the ambitious mod for Fallout 4, is officially out, but installing the mod will require a few different attempts to get it working.
How to Play Fallout London on Steam / How to Downgrade Fallout 4 Next Gen Update
In addition to downloading the game, you will also need to install a downgrader to revert the game to a previous update that works with Fallout London. This can be a bit tricky for the non-tech savvy PC player, and worse, it can take a significant amount of time to install properly.
The downgrader is a mod required for Fallout 4 on Steam, which allows you to play a version of the game that works with the Fallout London mod. You can download it from Nexus Mods.
When you download the downgrader, you can enter the Fallout 4 file path and the mod will immediately downgrade all of the files, both the base game and any DLC you own, to a point where you should be able to run the mod as soon as you download and install it. If you are running a GoG version of Fallout 4, you do not need to use the downgrader.
