HBO MAX: How many simultaneous streams on how many devices/screens?
The number of devices Max can stream on simultaneously depends on your plan. If you have the With Ads plan or the basic Ad-Free plan, you can stream on up to two devices at once. For the Ultimate Ad-Free plan, you can watch on up to four devices at once.
To help with this, the Ad-Free and Ultimate Ad-Free plans allow for 30 and 100 downloads respectively. Viewers can watch downloaded titles without it affecting their total.
If you try to stream more than the limit at once, you’ll see an error message that you’re streaming on too many devices. When this happens, you won’t be able to watch until someone else stops watching.
