The amount of storage space is one of the toughest decisions you’ll make when choosing an iPad model. It’s hard to judge how much storage space you’ll need until you actually need it.
New iPad Storage? How Much Do You Really Need?
Apple has increased the storage of the entry-level iPad from 16GB to 32GB. While 16GB was fine in the early days, apps now take up much more space, and with so many people using their iPads to store photos and video, 16GB simply isn’t enough anymore. But is 32GB enough?
Here are the key questions you want to ask yourself when choosing an iPad model: How much of my music do I want to put on the iPad? How many movies do I want to put on it? Do I want to store my entire photo collection on it? Will I be traveling a lot with it? And what kind of games will I be playing on it?
While applications take up the majority of your PC’s storage space, most iPad apps are relatively small in comparison. For example, the Netflix app takes up just 75 megabytes of space, meaning you could fit 400 copies of the app on that 32GB iPad.
