With the rise of digital collectible card games like Hearthstone and Magic the Gathering, we’ve also seen the rise of a subgenre: deck builders. While often single-player, many deck builders try to lure you in with the promise of deep stories to explore and even deeper card pools to draw from.
Neurodeck reminds us that less can sometimes be more, and that the human mind still has plenty of stories to tell without us having to be transported to faraway places.
The premise of Neurodeck isn’t hard to grasp. There are no twisting political storylines to follow, or loads of characters with unique abilities and power-ups to navigate.
