When your main pawn in Dragon's Dogma 2 is hired by other players, you can obtain new items, earn Rift Crystals, and XP for your main pawn. Knowing how to set the right mission objectives and hire the right pawns can have an impact on your playthrough.
How to Set Up Pawn Quests in Dragons Dogma 2
Every time you sleep at an inn, the game acts as if your pawn crosses the rift into other universes (other players' worlds) and comes back with some experience, Rift Crystals, and parting gifts from all the players who hired him or her.
When you wake up, you will receive all of the rewards and will be given the option to set a new goal for your pawn. These goals, called pawn quests, are for other players to complete when they have your main pawn in their party, in exchange for a reward coming from your pocket.
This reward is only paid once, no matter how many players complete the goal, and you only receive the boons and XP from one of them. So you don't have to hesitate to set a high reward for fear that many players will complete it and empty your pockets. In fact, giving decent rewards can be a good idea to hire your pawn more often, get more Rift Crystals, and level up your pawn badges faster.
