Sleep is of course important, but the RISE app makes you realize how much influence your sleep can have on the next day.
Why You Should Stop Using Sleep Apps – Professor Russell Foster
The RISE app, created by Rise Science, debuted in app stores this week with a seven-day free trial. As someone who loves sleep but often finds myself exhausted during the day, I thought I’d give the app a try to see if I could understand why I feel a certain way and improve my energy levels.
After using the RISE app for a few days, I have been given the tools to be more productive and energetic throughout the day.
The RISE app was developed using the dual-process model of sleep regulation. This model assumes that circadian rhythm and sleep deprivation (the cumulative effect of too little sleep) determine how someone feels and functions.
