According to experts, the next generation of mobile 6G internet could bring blazing fast speeds and a host of new mobile devices.

Business leaders, government officials and academics recently gathered to discuss how 6G can be implemented, although the technology is still in the planning stages. The arrival of 6G could result in ubiquitous coverage and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for mobile.
“The difference between 5G and 6G is higher speed and lower latency,” wireless industry analyst Jeff Kagan told Lifewire in an email interview. “That means faster, more immediate communications.”
The White House is trying to plan a strategy to move forward with 6G, even though 5G technology is not yet fully implemented. The National Science Foundation hosted an event to determine how the United States can take the lead in 6G, especially since China is a strong contender for advanced mobile technology.
