While it's no secret that parks have huge, passionate fan bases (and that companies are connecting with consumers through social media is nothing new), the massive success of a channel focused entirely on what is primarily physical entertainment is still somewhat surprising.
But it looks like Disney has cracked the code and is immersing fans in the “Most Magical Place on Earth” from a distance.
“Fans of The Walt Disney Company's theme parks are incredibly passionate, but there's often a disconnect between the company's social media accounts and the way fans connect online,” theme park journalist Carlye Wisel told Lifewire in an email interview.
