Instagram has just launched its new feature, Reels, in over 50 countries, including the US. The feature lets you create a short video and post it directly within the Instagram app itself. How to Add and Remove Instagram Reels from Your Profile Grid
Instagram Reels launched with a few cosmetic changes to the app. This was mainly to highlight the new feature and find a way to integrate it into the Discover tab. The Reels tab was added to the profile page between the profile grid and the Tagged page. This new addition is intended to be a home base for all of your published Reels.
By default, Reels are added to the Reel tab when you publish them. Your Reels can be viewed by anyone on your Followers list (or by anyone if you have a public profile).
