Instagram lets you create a video loop that will be added to the Notes section of your Instagram DM.

Video Loop is a new feature available when posting Notes in your Instagram DM. You can create a note with a 2-second video to accompany the text note or music you want to appear at the top of your friends’ DM screen. Once you post the video, it will play on a loop and be visible in the Instagram DM for 24 hours.

It’s essentially a shorter version of Instagram Stories that lets your friends interact via messages. Any replies to your message will be visible in the special DM thread you have with that sender. People can respond to your video loop with text, stickers, photos, videos, GIFs, and even audio messages.
