This article describes how to add money to your Cash App card, including how to add money to your Cash App account on any mobile device and how to add money without using a checking account or credit card. Instructions apply to iPhone and Android devices.

You must have a checking, savings, or credit card account to use this method to add money to your Cash App card. Some credit cards do not allow transfers of funds to Cash App, although you can use them as a funding source to pay others with Cash App.

To add money to your Cash App account, open the app and go to the Banking tab, the icon that shows your Cash App balance at the far bottom left. If you don’t have any money available in Cash App, that icon looks like a house or a bank building.

In Banking, tap Add Cash.
