People are the heart of your city in Frostpunk 2. The decisions you make affect people’s trust in you and the development of your city. To ensure your city thrives, here’s how to build trust in Frostpunk 2.
How the Factions Work | Frostpunk 2 – Deep Dive, Review & Reaction
In Frostpunk 2, you build trust with individual communities in your city. At the start of the game, you have two communities, and as time goes by, factions (subcommunities) form that also require your attention.
There are several ways to increase Trust with a community/faction. You can find them by clicking on the representative portrait at the bottom of your screen and opening a tab with a circular human icon. Each of these options has a cooldown and affects the development of the city, so choose wisely.
The easiest way to build trust with a community or faction in Frostpunk 2 is to fund their projects. The action requires 100-300 Heatstamps and improves your relations with the community. Funding a project also allows the community to further propagate its interests, potentially leading to street demonstrations, but also to worsening relations with opposing communities.
