This article explains how to bulk delete photos from iPhones and iPads running iOS 10 or later.

While there's no option to delete all photos from an iPhone at once, you can mark large groups of photos so you can easily delete them:

Tap the Photos app on the home screen of your iPhone or iPad.

Tap Photos at the bottom of the screen to view all your photos grouped by the date they were taken.
