Coverage where built-in facilities fall short

Thanks to the built-in screen capture tools, you can take screenshots on both Windows and Mac machines without having to install a third-party app. These built-in tools also offer customization options, so you can take your screenshots the way you want.

There are a few areas where these tools fall short, however. One of them is that you can’t capture full-page screenshots of the web pages in your browser. The tools only capture the portion of the screen that is visible, and they don’t let you take scrolling screenshots of the sites.

Fortunately, two of the popular web browsers – Chrome and Firefox – have both built-in options and third-party extensions that allow you to take full-page screenshots.
