By default, Windows assigns a name to each network: Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. While renaming the network doesn’t change anything other than the title, it can make it easier for you to identify the network. There are a few ways to change it if you’d rather find your various network adapters with a custom name.
The easiest way is via Settings. But you can also use Control Panel or even Registry Editor.
There is a simple Rename option for your network adapters in Settings. It is the method we recommend as it is by far the easiest to understand.
