Here’s how to change the language your Alexa device uses. North American Echo devices are programmed in American or Canadian English, but they speak fluent German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, and several other languages.

While you can change the language for individual Echo devices, you'll still need to make the change in your Alexa app. (There's also an Alexa app for iPhone.)
Open the app and follow these steps for each device.
Tap Devices at the bottom left of your screen. Scroll to find the device you want to change the language for.
