In The First Descendant you will obtain many Descendants that will help you on your journey in the game by crafting or purchasing them. Once you have a large enough collection, it can become difficult to switch between them.

This guide will teach you how to change characters in The First Descendant.
Once you have collected enough Descendants, you can switch between them via the game menu. To do this on PC, simply press the I button to open the Inventory tab. Then, click on the 'Descendant' tab next to it to open the menu that shows your character list. Press G on this screen or click on the 'Descendant List' option at the bottom of the screen. Doing this will open your list of Descendants. You can then choose between them and select the 'Use' option to immediately switch to the character you want.
This works similarly on Xbox and PlayStation. To switch Descendants, press the Options button to open the in-game menu. Now, press the left or right shoulder buttons on your Xbox controller, or the L1 or R1 button on your PlayStation controller, to scroll to the Descendant tab.
