How to change the difficulty in Helldivers 2
Defeating enemies in one go can be fun, but the real fun begins when you take on tougher enemies. That’s why I focused on unlocking more difficulty levels in Helldivers 2 right after I got the hang of the basics. Picking the right difficulty from all the options can be tricky at first, but after a few tries you should get a good feel for what works for you.
To change your difficulty in Helldivers 2, go to your ship and find the Galactic War table. Interact with the table and you will find the difficulty setting slider at the bottom of your screen. Use this slider to adjust your Helldivers 2 difficulty.
The biggest advantage you get from playing Helldivers 2 on a harder difficulty is the extra medals you receive for completing a mission. As you complete missions on a higher difficulty, you will receive more medals for your efforts.
