This article explains how to change the host of a meeting in Google Meet. Transferring ownership from one host to another can be useful if you created the meeting but can't attend, or if another attendee will be leading the event.
How to Change the Host in Google Meet
Meeting owners in Google Meet have more control than other participants, such as blocking screen sharing or chats or removing participants from the meeting. Unfortunately, you can't change the host after a meeting has started. This can only be done before the meeting using Google Calendar (you must also have scheduled it in Google Calendar).
Here's how to do it on your desktop computer:
Open Google Calendar and click on the meeting in the grid. If you haven't scheduled a meeting in Google Meet yet, choose the date and time you want and click Add guests > Save to automatically make the event a Google Meet meeting.
