How to change your Skype name
While you can change your username on other online platforms, Skype doesn’t allow you to do so. However, there are other options you can use to change your Skype name.
In the sign-up phase, Skype allows you to use your email address or phone number. If you sign up with your phone number or email address instead of your Skype Name, you have a Microsoft account, not a Skype Name.
You can sign in with your Skype name and password, so choose a password that is easy to remember and unique to you.
