This article explains how to change your password in the desktop version of Yahoo Mail.

To change your Yahoo! Mail password:

Open Yahoo Mail and sign in if prompted.

Select your name at the top of the page and go to Account Info. In Yahoo Mail Basic, select the menu next to your name at the top of the page, choose Account Info, and then select Go.
