One way to keep an eye on your CPU is to monitor its temperature. There are several ways to check the temperature of your CPU, but you will need to download a third-party app.

Whether you’re troubleshooting your PC or just want to keep an eye on things, monitoring your CPU temperature is a great way to ensure that your computer is running as smoothly as possible. One of the best apps that I’ve ever used is Core Temp. It’s available as a free program that gives you a simple and hassle-free way to check your PC’s CPU temperature.

All you need to do to use Core Temp is download and install the app. Once you do, you’ll be able to see your CPU’s model information, the frequency it’s running at, and even a breakdown of the temperatures of your CPU’s various cores.

There are also other options, such as HWMonitor, which can provide much more detailed information about your system. It is a bit more complex, so I don’t recommend using it if you are not familiar with the internal workings of your PC. I still prefer using Core Temp, as it is extremely lightweight and shows all the basic information you need. Core Temp also works with all major processor types, including AMD and Intel.
