Both iPhone and Android will show you how much data has been used on your mobile plan. If you know how much is allotted to you each month, a simple calculation will tell you how much data is left.

iPhones store this information in Settings > Cellular. Scroll down to Cellular Data. The number next to Current Period is the running total.
