Tutorial: How to Remove Formatting from Entire Text in Documents in Microsoft Word
Before you explore the "clear formatting" options below, you can easily revert text and picture formatting using Microsoft Office's Undo feature. This is useful if the most recent changes you made to your document involved text or picture formatting.
On both Windows and Mac, the Undo button is found by default in the Quick Access toolbar at the top left of the Word window. Each press of the button undoes each previous action in sequence.
You can also click the arrow next to the Undo button to review the actions or undo multiple actions at once.
