When your email becomes slow
How to Clear the Cache in Outlook
Like any other app, Outlook also creates and stores cache files on your computer to speed up its operation. These files help the app to autocomplete certain things and help the app to get to the required files faster than if there were no cache. However, sometimes you may want to clear Outlook's cache.
You'll especially want to do this if you notice that the app is performing slower, which is often the result of a lot of cache files that have been created over time. There are ways to delete various Outlook cache files, as shown below.
Using File Explorer to clear the Outlook cache is one of the easiest ways to do this. Since cache files are just like any other regular files on your computer, you can navigate to the folder where they are located and delete them all at once. Once that’s done, your Outlook cache will be gone.
