Researching and building are absolutely essential, as they allow you to upgrade your units and mothership, and take on even stronger enemies. But you have to plan this carefully; researching and building takes a long time, and in battle, time is extremely valuable. Here’s how to gather resources in Homeworld 3.
Getting resources in Homeworld 3 is pretty simple: all you need to do is have Resource Controllers find the nearest location and start harvesting. Once you give this command, all your Resource Controllers will go to the location. In this case, you don’t need to choose the location, because they automatically know where it is.
Another way to get more resources is to have Resource Controllers salvage the wrecks. You can't just salvage a wreck and there should be an option to do this on hover. Normally intel will warn you about all the salvageable resources. You don't have to collect them, but the more resources you have the better.
