If you can’t wait to see the crazy antics that Mulan and Mushu get up to in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll first need to complete A New Recruit. This main quest takes you to Mulan’s realm and introduces you to both characters. In true DDV style, you’ll need to clear the biome, find tons of hidden items, and learn a new recipe for a grumpy and demanding Mushu. Unsurprisingly, this is easier said than done. To start A New Recruit in DDV, you'll need to update your game to the Lucky Dragon update. Then, enter the Dream Castle and spend 15000 Dreamlight Magic to unlock the thorny door that leads to Mulan's realm. Talk to a grumpy Mushu inside to start this quest.
To complete A New Recruit in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll need to clean up the camp, find your training uniform, and cook Mushu's Congee to meet Mulan.
