The latest Fallout 76 update, Skyline Valley, introduces a bunch of new quests, including a major mission where you help a man named Craig find closure. The main quest, “Into Lands Unknown,” has you searching for Craig’s friends.

You'll find out that his friends all met unfortunate ends, and you must collect their personal effects. This guide will help you complete the "Gather Personal Effects for Craig" portion of the quest in the Skyline Valley update.
To start, you’ll find Craig at the entrance to Skyline Drive in the new Skyline Valley area of Appalachia. By following the main mission “Into Lands Unknown,” you’ll naturally come across Craig. Talk to him and he’ll task you with collecting three sentimental items that belonged to his deceased friends.
First up is Miles' Hat. Head to Makeout Point, which is marked on your map. Be careful, as this area is home to some tough enemies. At the bottom of the cliff, you'll find Miles' Hat on a lower ledge. Pick it up to complete the first part of the objective. Follow the bloody trail to find Miles' body above and signal for a flare.
