A puzzling storyline involving the mysterious Fingers, the Count Ymir quest is one of the most interesting in Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. But to complete it, players will need to go from one side of the map to the other, so here's what you need to do to complete Count Ymir's quest.

To begin the quest in Elden Ring, you’ll need to navigate to Count Ymir himself, who can be found in the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. To get there, you’ll need to go through Bonny Village and the two bridges to the other side, before following the path through the forest to reach the Church District Highroad Grace. Count Ymir will be sitting on a chair inside the building. Exhaust his dialogue and he’ll give you a map and a strange item needed to complete the quest.

This next step requires you to go to the southern side of the map, in the areas with blue and white flowers. To get here, you need to reach and clear the Dragon's Pit dungeon. It is located northeast of Castle Front Grace, directly below the Suppressing Pillar.

From Dragon's Pit Terminus Grace, go straight until you see a sleeping dragon in a lake, then go right and follow the path until you reach a huge dead dragon and the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion Grace. Go straight and pass the area until you see colossal stone structures leaning against the cliff to your right. Descend them with Torrent and you'll be on the beach. Keep going left until you see another structure you can climb, and you'll find the Finger Ruins of Rhia.
