Hoping to make the most of the current lockdown situation, Google started pushing users hard to check out their dedicated, professional video conferencing solution: Google Meet. Even at the beginning of the lockdown period, Google Meet was exclusive to premium G Suite users. However, now any Gmail user is eligible to use Google Meet and connect with up to 100 users.
Currently — until September 30 — free users can host meetings for up to 24 hours. After the trial ends, users can still connect up to 100 users, but the duration will be reduced to 60 minutes. After the meeting ends, users can start another meeting right away.
